Our desk bought this Stussy letter-print tee at the catalogue price of $8.06, with $9.46 shown struck through, and it arrived in the same courier bag as the rest of the batch. Before it was tried on we photographed it on the grey mat beside a dated card, then measured, washed and re-measured it. Here is what the parcel actually contained.
What arrived
The outer bag took some compression in transit, but the tee inside came out without hard crush creases across the body or the chest graphic. The black body is a flat, matte black rather than a washed or faded tone, and the white graphic sits across the chest as photographed in the listing: the brand wordmark combined with city names and a circular emblem.
We photographed the neck label and the care tag. The tag covers the cotton content and a cold wash instruction, and nothing more. It does not name a print method, which matters for everything below.
Fabric, weight and finish
The catalogue describes a pure long-staple cotton body at 250–300 gsm with a non-iron finish, listed as breathable, wrinkle-resistant and moisture-wicking. In hand the jersey reads as midweight for a graphic tee: it hangs off the shoulder and falls with a slight drape instead of clinging, and the surface is smooth with no visible slub or thin patches held against the lightbox.
The non-iron claim held up on arrival — the shirt was wearable straight out of the bag. Our cold-wash check, followed by a line dry, left the same measurements at all three points we had recorded, and no visible print lift at the graphic's edges. That is one wash on one sample, not a durability guarantee, and pure cotton can still move in a hot machine cycle.
The chest print is the open question
The listing never states whether the graphic is screen printed, heat transferred or DTG, and the care tag does not fill the gap. We asked our agent and could not get a written confirmation, so we are leaving this as unverified rather than assuming the best case.
Public reporting on Stussy cotton reps splits in a way that is worth knowing before you order. Buyers in one thread describe the blanks as soft and reasonably thick; buyers in another complain that genuinely high-quality Stussy tees are scarce and that chest prints can wear over time. Neither report concerns this specific listing, and buyers can be right about a category while a particular factory batch behaves differently.
"very accurate, nice thick and soft blanks. the blanks used are pure cotton and good quality, soft and pretty thick." — buyer report on Stussy cotton reps, r/1688Reps
Fit and sizing
The catalogue lists a loose fit with a 1–2 cm measurement tolerance across S, M, L, XL and XXL. Our sample landed inside that tolerance at all three points we check — flat chest, body length and shoulder — so the seller's chart is usable as written. The cut is deliberately relaxed through the body and sleeve, not a slim streetwear tee.
Guidance from Stussy buyers generally runs the same way: true to size already gives a relaxed look, and sizing up is only for people who want it baggier. Because the body is pure cotton with a 1–2 cm allowance, hand washing or hanging to dry is the safer routine if you are ordering your normal size and want it to stay there.
Colour run and value
The colour list is unusually long for a single listing, spanning the 848–918 series across black, white, royal blue, red, green, beige, khaki, grey, brown, navy and purple shades, with some colourways split across different artwork numbers. If you settle on a shade you like, reordering it is straightforward, though we cannot confirm that every colourway uses an identical blank weight.

What we could not confirm
- The print method behind the chest graphic, and therefore its likely lifespan.
- Whether the 250–300 gsm band applies evenly across all colourways and artwork numbers.
- How the fabric behaves after repeated washing rather than a single cold cycle.
All three are answerable before payment. Ask your agent to confirm the print method and the blank weight for the exact colour and artwork number you want, and keep the chat in your order records.
How we tested
We measured flat chest, body length and shoulder at three points against the seller's chart, photographed the neck label, care tag and batch stamp, and logged parcel condition before opening. One cold wash and line dry followed, then the same three points were re-measured.

Does this tee run big, and should I size up?
The catalogue lists a loose fit with a 1–2 cm tolerance, and our sample sat inside that. Buyer guidance on Stussy generally says true to size already looks relaxed, so size up only if you want a baggier result.
Will it shrink if I wash it normally?
It is listed as pure cotton, and Stussy buyers note that 100% cotton tees can shrink in the wash. Our cold wash with a line dry changed nothing on our sample; hand washing or a cold cycle protects the fit.
Will the chest graphic crack or fade?
That is unverified here. The listing does not name a print method and buyers elsewhere flag Stussy chest prints wearing over time, so ask your agent how the graphic is applied before you pay.
