Every featured product review starts with an order our testing team placed and received. We write from the unpacking notes, fit measurements, photographs, and timing logs taken at our Rotterdam desk, and we print the order date and warehouse in each piece.
Our editors choose what to cover. We do not accept payment for a review, and we do not let an agent or seller approve copy. Affiliate links may appear in a review, but the link is added after the order is placed and the item is tested. Commission does not change a score.
Scores use a five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Scores for items we ordered and tested may occupy the full 1 to 5 scale.
We correct errors quickly and label updates with a date. If a fee, a size chart, or a shipping line changes after publication, we note the change rather than quietly editing the page.
